Editor's Note

I want to start by saying Happy Thanksgiving; I hope that you are able to spend today with your loved ones. I know life can be busy, and sometimes we can forget to take time for our friends and family or be present when we are with them. Please remember that you are not replaceable in your homes and with those you love. So start or restart today, prioritizing and cherishing your relationships with your loved ones.

Positivity in Practice

A daily dose keeps you going

I stumbled across this quote by Zig Ziglar this week and wanted to share it with you. “People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily.”

It really resonated with me. Because we have to eat, drink and sleep every day. It is just the basics required for survival; moreover, when we neglect those responsibilities, we can feel that our bodies are worse for wear. So naturally, we must do the same for our hearts and minds.

Here's your homework: take the time every day to fill yourself up before you go and tackle your day. Try reminding yourself of why you want to achieve your goal or reflecting on past victories to give you the boost you need to keep pressing forward. Maybe even through on a playlist that gets you pumped. No matter what method you choose, I want you to make sure you grab something and give yourself a fresh dose of motivation every single day.

Email us and let us know how it goes. We may feature you in a future issue.
