It can be so difficult to believe good things happen every day when the things reported or shared are examples of the worst humanity has to offer.

Spring is just around the corner

Can you name all the seasons? Contrary to popular belief there are actually 11. Here they are: Winter, Fool's spring, Second Winter, Spring of Deception, Third Winter, Mud Season, Actual Spring, Summer, False Fall, Second Summer, and Actual Fall.

In all seriousness, I am sure that you have seen some version of this weather meme online. Personally, I've seen dozens, and this funny little reminder of how volatile life can be. (By the way if you are in the Midwest, we are transitioning from Spring of Deception to Third Winter. Check your local weather for specifics. lol ).

The last few years have felt like this weather meme with all its bittersweet ups and downs. Whether we like it or not, life can be a rollercoaster. When emotions or situations are in flux, every interaction can feel awkward. But I want to encourage you; everyone has felt out of control, awkward or uncomfortable. In those, times we all done or said things that we wish we hadn't. And sometimes those seasons of awkwardness and feeling unbalanced last longer than we want. But fear not they come to an end.

No matter how bad winter feels, fool's spring is right around the corner to give you a break. So don't despair, When the sun breaks through the clouds have a picnic and soak up the rays. Store some that goodness, warmth and confidence to get you through the next winter. We can't stop winter from coming but winter can't stop the spring either.
