Editor's Note

In today’s world, most of us are accustomed to things happening quickly. It can feel like we aren’t as successful as we want to be because things take longer than we anticipated or planned for. I want to encourage you. Just because the results you are looking for are delayed does not mean that you will suffer defeat. Hang in there and stay the course. Your victory is on its way.

About Us

The mission of Real Positive Vibes, RPV, is to help society move toward goodness, finding it within themselves by seeing it in others. RPV is a service of Church Builders Bible Training Center whose mission is to help each person discover their vision for life, find their passion, and focus their purpose. Our beliefs are interdenominational. We are unapologetic about our non-religious Christ-centeredness. Find out more: bibletc.com/vision

Positivity in Practice

Strength in Resilience

Nothing ever happens as fast as we want it to or as society seems to suggest. The delay or extension of a mental timeline is hard to deal with. If you are anything like me, you've looked at people around you and been envious of their accomplishments. You probably considered the many ways (real or imagined) they are better than you and how you could change yourself to replicate their results. Or perhaps you've been thinking of throwing your hands up and giving up altogether.

Let me be your mirror for a moment. You worked hard to get to where you are today; it wasn't easy, and no one else could have handled the same challenges with grace. So part one of this week's homework is to celebrate your accomplishments, no matter how small or routine they may seem to you. That's what gives you the fuel you need to keep going.

Part two of your homework is to persevere. Sometimes plans and circumstances change, but you still have to work the plan, and the goal is still worth pursuing. We say (with our whole chest) "not today" to the little gremlin of doubt whispering in our ear, suggesting that now is the time to give up. We don't give in to the haters and doubters. We prove them wrong.

Email us and let us know how it goes. We may feature you in a future issue.
