Editor's Note

All too often, our news, social media feeds, and even our conversations with friends and family are centered around anxiety-filling and rage-inducing content. It can be so difficult to believe good things happen every day when the things reported or shared are examples of the worst humanity has to offer.

That’s why we started Real Positive Vibes. We wanted to create a haven inside your inbox to share some good news with you. We hope that while you read our newsletter, you can recharge and feel refreshed.

Positivity in Practice

60 to 90 Degrees

When I was a child riding in the car with my parents I remember them talking about the thermostat in the car. Even though every model doesn't show the exact temperature, in general, the range is from 60 to 90 degrees (Fahrenheit). Or Dark blue to red as I also thought of it as a child. My Dad always favored turning the dial all the way from one end of the dial to the other. My Mom on the other hand tended to slide the dial all along the middle ranges on either the hot or the cold side almost never touching the tips.

What I learned watching them and what I want to share with you is that there are 30 degrees between 60 and 90. Each of them has its value, each of them has its moment, and each of them is useful. Often in life we live and make choices in a binary way, it has to be 60 or 90, hot or cold. And we forget about all the options that exist outside of that. So I encourage you to explore 65, 72, 81, or even go off-scale and see if 54 or 100 suits you.

Find what feels right at the moment. You have a range of options and opportunities to explore, don't let anything stop you from trying them all.

Email us and let us know how you bring a little positivity to your life. We would love to hear it and we may feature you in a future issue.
