Editor's Note

All too often, our news, social media feeds, and even our conversations with friends and family are centered around content that brings us down. It can be so difficult to believe good things still happen every day when the overarching things we read and hear are full of discouragement.

That’s why we started this goodnewsletter, Real Positive Vibes (RPV). We've curated good news to share with you, a haven of amazing goodness in the lives of every day people. While you peruse RPV, may you be relaxed, refreshed, and renewed. May you be encouraged and inspired to have hope, shine your light, and do good works.

Sending you real positive vibes,

Chaplain Michelle

Positivity in Practice

You don't know their story...

We can all use some help from time to time. Even under the best circumstance, we all can face challenges and need a hand up to face the day. This week I want to share this video with you. It perfectly illustrates how important it is to be kind to those around us and lend a helping hand when we can.

No matter how someone might look on the outside or from your perspective, don't assume that you know what is happening in someone's life. We all deal with the challenges in our lives differently but the most hurtful thing someone else can do is judge our circumstances without full context.

So instead, I want you to offer a non-judgmental helping hand to someone. Sometimes it is easier to help someone when we feel superior to them or determined the details that we know of their life make them worthy of help. But in the end, we all need help, and we shouldn't have to bare our souls or be judged deserving to get it.

Let's apply the golden rule, and all help outwhen we can, no questions asked or strings attached.

Email us and let us know how you bring a little positivity to your life. We would love to hear it and we may feature you in a future issue.
