Positivity in Practice

The Value of Trying New Things

We all know what it is like to get stuck in a rut. There can be a lot of comfort in having or following a routine. But it is very important to continue stepping out of our comfort zones every now and again.

So here's your homework for this week. Try something new this week. Try a new food, or that show your friends have been talking about that you don't think you'll like. Try a new hobby or even make a new friend. Give yourself the opportunity to explore something different and see how it makes you feel. You may find that you want to incorporate it into your daily routine, or you might just let it be a one-time experience. Either way, expanding your pallet will be good for you.

Email us and let us know how it goes. We may feature you in a future issue.
